Covered in orange

I had to exam the flowers that have covered the roadways in orange. Every year, I seem to fall victim to the same flowers, but they still catch my eye.

Today's moment: taking a break to smell the flowers.

A day of rest

Perhaps it was the dust from Saturday's bike race or general exhaustion, but I felt horrid today... Bad enough to stay home and (gasp) skip my workout. Instead, I decided to top off my sleep tank and see how that worked. Only time will tell now!

Ninja chick

I had the honor of presenting more about the awesome free tools Google has to offer again today to a room of enthusiastic educators. It's wonderful to walk into a room full of people so excited to learn. Kudos to teachers!

Today's moment: overhearing another teacher day she wanted to be a ninja couch too. Haha.

Hot tub time traveler

Today marked the beginning of state testing and therefore, the mooooving of about 40 computer carts known as COWs. It was follows by another three hour trip to prepare for tomorrow's presentation. So, as I sit from my hotel room, I dream that this hot tub will bring back time!

Playing pretend

There is something to envy about the way children play and imagine. They have no limits-only those we place upon them.

Today's moment: a reminder to let my imagination be free more often.

The long lost burger

Today, we biked the Florence race for 55 miles, only to find the roads in a state similar to Beirut.

So, today, a burger and fries have never looked or tasted so delicious. Cheers to booking and burgers

We came so close

Well, we tried to see the Avengers, but this is as close as we got. Sadly, the boyfriend bought tickets for the wrong theater. Today's moment: rolling with life's punches.
