Well,  we had another set of record floods and my illness continued.  So,  after braving work for a few hours,  I decided to turn around.

My allergies have only worsened over the years.  So,  now that we have rain,  we have mold and my throat hurts.

Learning to

I got a sewing machine last year,  but after learning the practice,  I got rusty and forgot.  So,  today,  I learned again.

Glass pumpkins

Today,  I returned to glass blowing to make a quick glass pumpkin.  It's amazing to watch to glad mold and thicken while the color whirls.

Relaxing

We begin a short four day break with a nice steady rain all day.  I cannot begin to express how relaxing it is.

Today,  the  hurricane hit Mexico and,  here in Texas,  we started to get some much needed rain.

Here comes the rain

Or so they say.  After record floods,  record drought,  we are now expected to get record floods again.  This time,  I have this great view.

I am officially exhausted and,  with the forecast of rain,  I'm ready for my snuggie and slumber.

After almost three months,  I finally have a desk!  I'm still waiting on other important items,  but it's all about baby steps.

Tonight,  we put chalkboard paint to a pumpkin,  drew an owl and bats and put a hat on it.  That's the simplest pumpkin decorating I have ever done.

Tonight,  my grandparents came into town so we had a big family dinner with the locals.  During that time,  my niece decided to read and reenact Halloween stories for hours.

Today,  I helped organize or first ed tech women meet up of the year and we were full of positivity among the members.
