Most days, I post a picture of a moment that captured me. I can't claim credit for this picture, but it's too beautiful not to. As of a few hours ago, I'm an aunt again. Life is so previous to watch as it enters this world.
What's your beautiful moment?
I discovered this awesome song by Spoon called "Inside Out" that I'm absolutely in love with. I've waited all day to hear it again. Listening to it, my stresses are gone and replaced by excitement for life's changes.
What's your happy song?
In gearing up for the birth of my second niece, I gave my nearly three year old niece stickers galore. Being a child, she put them everywhere we didn't intend them to go. And, that's the beauty of it.
Today's moment: simplicity.
Today, I biked for Mary Magdalen, a student at Austin's Rosedale school. This moment came at the start of my biking journey. And though it was filled with so much wind, it was one of the more beautiful Texas rides I've ever taken. Here's to Mary and many more years of leaning.
What a week?! The moment I've been waiting for all week is coming home and putting work away. Though work is still out, the sound of the weekend is booming through my windows.
I've been a mountain climber, hiker camper, runner, and general outdoors nut for years. However, it wasn't until a year and a half ago that I got poison ivy/oak. Sadly, after my most recent camping trip, I appear to have it again. The moment I look forward to each day is putting on this lotion.
This week has been a busy week and, with the consumption of work, I had forgotten about life's chores. That was, until I came home to this mountain of laundry.
Today's moment: life.
After distributing several hundred computers, I could only think of one thing: the banana pineapple bread I made. And, after taking a bite, I can say it lived up to the hype.
What were you most looking forward to today?
Today marked the beginning of our refresh, or a time noted by jeans and tennis shoes. The trucks came in and unloaded over 1000 computers, ready to be distributed and imaged. So, today, I feel outnumbered by a sea of computers.
After a morning biking, I visited my dad at an area track, who was busy coaching children. It was a great run down memory lane to the long hours spent on the track with him coaching me.
What memory do you have that stands out?
Day #.... of rain. Today, Aj's sky diving plans for ruined because of it. But with every drop off rain, comes one more beautiful bloom.

With the threat of rain and the need to get in a long bike ride before next week's race, I set out on my bike journey early. After 15 miles of rain, I hit a sharp metal wire, lost a wheel, and came to a screeching halt. Two car rides and a new tire layer, I was finally back on the road, ready to get home. Though I never got in that long ride, the rain in this drought is always nice.
Yesterday, I set out on a camping and hiking journey, expecting to be surrounded by water and life. Instead, we entered into hills and hills of death. There is something eerily beautiful about it, though.
I can't over state how much I love hiking. So, today, I'm taking a spring retreat to do just that and experience the great outdoors!
Several years ago, I started to hand stitch a rag quilt. Needless to say, I'm still working on that. Luckily, I got a sewing machine for Christmas. And, thanks to my mom, I now know how to use it and am happily sewing.
What old projects have you taken up again?
Day 1 of spring break was kicked off by a nice, quiet bike ride. I wish every day could begin this way.

I saw my first set of tulips today, a reminder today marks the beginning of spring break. I look forward to spending time with my favorite: outside.
What are you looking forward to?
In an unusual twist of events, Austin has only had the days of sun in the last month. That's unacceptable for Austinites. Today, though, the sun came out and temperatures warmed, a reminder spring break begins in one day!
So I bought a book on sketch noting a while back and have attended numerous sessions on it. I just haven't taken the plunge. Leaving SXSWedu, I feel more inspired than last year and more defined on how I want to continue to change the world.
What will you wrote about?
After about two months of planning, we kicked off another great event co-hosted by Google for Education. The best part: having classroom teachers spotlighted. The glory should always go to them.

About once every six months, I treat myself to a Starbucks and, today was that day. With a gift card in hand, and rain and cold flooding the streets, it was the perfect solution. Now, to kick off the week with more sharing at SXSWedu.
I've never claimed to be super woman and I certainly have a long way to go to become her. However, on days like today, I feel like her. So, in honor of that, I wear my super woman.... Apron.

I have been wanting to learn how to blow glass for a while and, today, I had that opportunity. It was a challenge and a delight all at once.
What's your creative goal? What do you want to learn?
I saw this awesome painting of a long jumper a week ago and have been dying to make a version of it ever since. ,Today on my "ice" day ( no ice was spotted) , I decided to try. On the attempt, my runner was wrong. On the second attempt, I dropped out and smeared it all. On another, I decided to let it dry and paint an umbrella on a city path. I love the creative process. You never know what the product will be.
Where does time go? It's the question we all ask. Today, I finally changed my calendar to March, a reminder of all I want to do and the limited time to do it. Life is full of too many adventures to explore!
First on my list: more painting, more biking, more free time
I need a break from the computer screen. Today, I've made a vote to read more and multi - task less; to take up silence more. A lot can be said for silence.... If only for a moment?
